Duodecim, number par excellence

"Duodecim" in the history of Numerology that man has tried throughout history explanations of reality through numbers is well known. Philosophers, artists, scientists, writers, filmmakers, mathematicians, astronomers and astrologers have immortalized the numeral trying to express a meaning from them. Duodecim (Twelve) is a somewhat recurring number in all humanistic and scientific disciplines. Here are just a few examples: the months, the Apostles, the half-tones of an octave in music, the tables of Roman law, the Greek gods, the number of the Titans, the Paladins of Charlemagne and the Knights of the round table, the sons of Jacob, the tribes of Israel, the finding of Jesus in the temple (he had 12 years). In short, all the previous examples (and many others) have to do with the number 12. Duodecim for us oenophiles a wine (twelve hours of maceration). A rosé wine obtained from grapes negramaro. The Winery is located in the municipality Greek Salento Romaldo Seclì (). The wine has the color typical of the vine from Puglia; a deep pink evidently claret, result of steeping, just 12 hours (012). The notes of Pomegranate and raspberry are evident. Served as an aperitif is ideal for an evening of conviviality. However, we have combined the wine to a pasta dish (pasta with tuna sauce) trying to force a little nature vispa of vine: acidity and veiled softness they catered worthily contrasting taste. www.romaldogreco.it
